Sarah Espiritu (Also known as Seven,) was born February 13th , 1984 in Makati, Philippines. She comes from a family of 8, including: her mother, late father, and 5 sisters. Sarah is the second youngest of the daughters. The family spent many years growing up on a farm in Grand Valley, Ontario. She attended St. Peter Elementary School in Orangeville, Ontario. In 1999, Sarah joined a youth group, where she met her boyfriend and future husband. They have been together since September 1, 2000 and were married June 2012.
After she graduated from highschool at Robert F. Hall Catholic Secondary School in Caledon East in 2002, Sarah's first job was working at a car factory in Tottenham, Ontario. Eventually, She moved away from home and worked for several retail stores such as Winners, Boca, Danier Leather, and Hamiko Collection, to name a few. One of her other experiences of work was at a manufacturing company as an assistant.
Sarah’s dream had always been to do something in fashion, but since she wasn’t able to attend fashion school, she soon discovered her passion for hair. Sarah attended the Aveda Institute in Toronto, where she studied cosmetology. Her hard work, dedication and commitment as a student did not go unnoticed, and she was recommended for her first job out of hair school as an apprentice at a wig salon in Yorkville, Ontario.
As time went on, Sarah quickly developed her skills and grew into a wig stylist. She learned to cut, color, style, and perm various types of hair systems for women of all ages, going through Chemo therapy, alopecia, trichotillomania, thinning hair, were among the reasons for their hair loss. She currently still works with wigs and other hair systems.
Her passion and understanding of the beauty in women grew. Working with women and children experiencing hair loss, as a stylist, it made her see that what she did was never about herself, but helping women find their confidence and beauty. Sarah tried to find other ways to help women feel good about themselves, and developed her passion for makeup.
After being at the wig salon for 4 years, Sarah enrolled at the School of Makeup Art (SOMA) in Yorkville, Ontario. She graduated her beauty, fashion and bridal makeup course. Soon after, she started her first company: Stay True Beauty. Her company specializes in on-site beauty services such as hairstyling and makeup for any occasion.
